What are the new market timings for CAS stocks?
Please refer to the table for the new market timings for CAS stocks:
| Time window | Phase name | What happens? |
| 3:00 PM – 3:15 PM | Reference price window | Normal trading continues. The 15-minute average price (VWAP) is calculated to set the baseline reference price. |
| 3:15 PM – 3:20 PM | Transition period | Trading pauses. The exchange sets price limits. You can cancel existing orders, but no new orders or edits are allowed. |
| 3:20 PM – 3:25 PM | Order entry (Phase 1) | You can freely place, edit, or cancel both limit and market orders. There are no Order matching and execution at this time. |
| 3:25 PM – 3:30 PM | Order entry (Phase 2) | Market orders are locked. You can only place, edit, or cancel limit orders. (Window closes randomly between 3:28 PM and 3:30 PM). |
| 3:30 PM – 3:35 PM | Order matching | The exchanges calculate the official closing price and match buy or sell orders. |
| 3:35 PM – 3:50 PM | Preparation for the post-close Session | No trades are executed during this time, as the exchange prepares for the post-closing session. |
| 3:50 PM – 4:00 PM | Post-close Session | Standard post-close trading takes place at the newly established CAS closing price. |
