What is the NCFM Course?
The NSE Academy Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM) is an online testing and certification program designed to validate your practical knowledge of the stock market. Think of it like getting a driver’s license before hitting the financial highway. Just as you wouldn’t drive without knowing the rules of the road, the NCFM ensures you understand how trading, mutual funds, and derivatives actually work.
Administered by the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it offers various modules, from beginner-friendly financial literacy to advanced options trading. For everyday investors, studying for an NCFM module is a great way to graduate from relying on “hot tips” to making informed, independent decisions. Alternatively, if you use a broker, checking for this certification proves they have the baseline, verified expertise needed to handle your hard-earned money.
