Fertilizer Stocks Surge Ahead of Monsoon: Technicals Signal Breakout

Fertilizers & Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) led the gains with an impressive 11% spike, driven by robust trading volumes. The company, known for its diversified operations across fertilizers, petrochemicals, and engineering services, is now trading well above its 10, 21, and 50-day moving averages—an encouraging sign for technical traders. Both MACD and RSI are flashing bullish, hinting at continued momentum in the near term. FACT ended the session at ₹745, with a suggested stop loss at ₹690.
Not far behind, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd (RCF) posted a solid 5% rise, attempting to break past its 50-day moving average resistance. The company, a key player in fertilizer and industrial chemical production, is also showing improving strength on the RSI and MACD, suggesting that it could be building a base for a possible breakout. RCF closed at ₹140, with a stop loss recommendation at ₹130.
