What happens if a SIP order fails?
Your SIP remains active even if an installment fails. Only the missed payment is marked as failed. You can manually place a buy order to make up for the missed installment. A SIP installment may fail due to:
- AutoPay debit failure
- Exchange rejection
- Instrument entering restricted categories
- Corporate Actions (merger, delisting, etc.)
- Price movement or circuit limits
