How do I pledge my shares ?

To pledge you shares please follow these steps:

1. Log in to Share.Market web or app
   • For mobile app: tap on  profile picture , then tap Funds > Pledge
   • For web platform: Go to Funds > Pledge
2. Tap SELECT HOLDINGS TO PLEDGE
3. Tap Select holding to pledge and choose the security you want to pledge
4. Enter or edit the quantity
5. Review margin details & haircut percentage
6. Tap PLEDGE
7. Check the transactions details and enter the OTP

Once verified, your collateral margin will reflect in your Funds section on the next trading day.

Note: You can place pledging requests on trading days between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM using either the mobile app or web platform.

Pledging lets you leverage your existing portfolio to get extra trading margin without selling your long-term holdings.
