If I place a limit order, is it guaranteed to get executed?
No, a limit order does not guarantee execution. It is possible that limit orders may not get executed partially or completely. This is because the execution of limit orders depends on the availability of buyers for your sell limit order or sellers for your buy limit order, at the price and quantity you have specified. Limit orders will be triggered only if the price you have specified is hit.
