What should I do if I have not received the mandate yet?
If your payment request hasn’t arrived yet, don’t worry. Refer to the table below to see the expected timeline for your application.
| When you apply for IPO | When the mandate request arrives | What should you do? |
| Before the IPO opens or pre-apply window | On the first day the IPO opens for bidding | Check your UPI app on the first day and accept it. |
| During the IPO bidding window | Within 24 hours | Wait up to 1 day for the request to show up. |
| On the last day of the IPO bidding window | Within 2 to 3 hours | IIf it takes over 3 hours, wait or cancel and try again. |
| If you apply on a Friday | Usually on Monday | Check your UPI app on Monday morning. |
| After 5:00 PM | After 10:00 AM the next working day | Check your UPI app the next morning. |
After applying for an IPO, your UPI app will send you a payment request to block the funds for your application.
