What changes will you notice as an investor on Share.market once the Closing Auction Session (CAS) is implemented?
- Delivery investors: Your stock’s closing price is simply calculated more fairly and accurately.
- Intraday (MIS) traders: Intraday positions in CAS stocks are squared off earlier than usual.
- F&O traders: Derivatives now trade until 3:40 PM, and expiry settlements are based on the new auction closing price.
- Index & ETF investors: Your funds will track the market more accurately with lower tracking error.
