Issues with Digilocker KYC

To use Aadhaar-related services, your mobile number must be linked to Aadhaar. Here’s how you can update your mobile number:

Visit the nearest Aadhaar Permanent Enrollment Center

For first-time linking: Fill out the Aadhaar Enrollment Form

For updating an existing number or linking a new one: Fill out the Aadhaar Correction Form

Provide your biometrics for authentication

Pay the applicable fee (as per UIDAI’s pricing policy)

Receive an acknowledgment slip with an Update Request Number (URN) to track the status

Once updated, you will receive Aadhaar verification OTPs on your new number.

Ensure your Aadhaar-linked mobile number matches the one registered with your bank.
To check which mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar, visit UIDAI’s website and use the “Verify Email/Mobile Number” service.

Updating your mobile number does not require a new Aadhaar card.
