Zydus Wellness Ltd. has announced the acquisition of Comfort Click Limited, UK, in a deal valued at GBP 239 million, marking its biggest global push yet into the digital wellness and supplements space. The transaction also includes Comfort Click’s subsidiaries in Ireland, India, and the US.

Expanding into the Global VMS Market

The deal gives Zydus a strong entry into the Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS) segment across key markets – the UK, EU, and the US. Comfort Click operates leading digital-first wellness brands such as WeightWorld (plant-based supplements and nutrition), maxmedix (paediatric-focused gummies), and Animigo (natural pet health products).

The European VMS market, estimated at GBP 11 billion, is among the fastest-growing globally, and the acquisition positions Zydus to tap into rising demand for preventive healthcare and lifestyle-driven nutrition.

Strong Growth Track Record

Comfort Click has been recognized by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s top 1,000 fastest-growing companies in both 2024 and 2025. Its sales surged from GBP 52 million in FY23 to GBP 134 million in FY25, reflecting a five-year CAGR of nearly 57%. The company reported EBITDA of GBP 21 million, with the majority of revenues coming from direct-to-consumer (D2C) and e-commerce channels.

Strategic Fit for Zydus

This acquisition adds to Zydus Wellness’ history of inorganic growth, which includes the purchase of Heinz India in FY19 and Naturell (maker of RiteBite protein snacks) in FY25. By integrating Comfort Click, Zydus strengthens its digital-first approach and diversifies into adult, paediatric, and pet nutrition – categories that align with long-term health and wellness trends.

Dr. Sharvil Patel, Chairman of Zydus Wellness, said the move reflects the company’s aspiration to be “a forward-looking leader in wellness, offering consumers easy access to innovative, health-focused products.” CEO Tarun Arora added that the acquisition “deepens our international footprint while reinforcing Zydus’ consumer-centric approach to health and wellbeing.”
