Ashok Leyland Ltd.ASHOKLEY₹251.65 +0.02%

Ashok Leyland Ltd. reported total vehicle sales of 15,333 units in June 2025 (including exports), registering a 3% YoY growth. Growth was led by a 56% surge in M&HCV bus sales, while truck sales declined 11%. LCV sales remained stable at 5,504 units, up 2% YoY.

On a cumulative basis for Q1 FY26, the company sold 44,238 vehicles, up 1% from 43,893 units in the same period last year. The rise in bus volumes helped offset a slight contraction in truck sales, signaling a gradual shift in demand patterns within the commercial vehicle segment.

Atul Auto Ltd.ATULAUTO₹452.30 -0.47%

Atul Auto Ltd. reported total sales of 2,705 units in June 2025, up 2.9% YoY. The growth was driven by a 21.6% increase in internal combustion engine (IC) three-wheeler sales, which rose to 2,083 units. However, electric vehicle (EV) volumes declined sharply, with L3 EVs down 33% YoY and L5 EVs (sold via subsidiary Atul Greentech) flat at 120 units.

Cumulatively for Q1 FY26, total sales rose to 6,932 units, up 4.2% YoY. Growth in IC-engine models offset the drop in EV volumes, highlighting an ongoing shift in portfolio performance as the company navigates supply-side challenges in the electric mobility segment.
