    "result": {"data":{"wpPage":{"uri":"/home/account-management/trading-and-demat-account/how-can-i-close-my-share-market-demat-account-if-i-have-holdings/","title":"How can I close my Share.Market demat account if I have holdings?","content":"\n<p>You can close your account online via the Share.Market app, but before proceeding, please ensure you meet the requirements in the checklist below:&nbsp;</p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tap your <strong>Profile </strong>icon &gt; <strong>Investment and Trading Account</strong></li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the<strong> Demat Account</strong> tab </li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap <strong>Close Account</strong> </li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap <strong>Begin Account Closure</strong> &gt; <strong>CLOSE ACCOUNT</strong></li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share your feedback on how we can improve and tap <strong>PROCEED</strong></li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select your target depository: <strong>CDSL</strong> or <strong>NSDL</strong></li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your target<strong> Demat Account ID</strong> (where you want to transfer your stocks)</li>\n\n\n\n<li>If transferring to <strong>NSDL</strong>, upload your <strong>Client Master Report</strong></li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the e-Sign verification by submitting the OTP sent to your Aadhaar registered mobile number</li>\n</ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Your account will be closed within <strong>2 working days</strong> after submission. If you face any issues, you can raise a support ticket for manual closure.</p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note</strong>: Account closure is <strong>permanent</strong>.
