Why is my GTT execution price different from the trigger price?

The trigger price only activates your order; it does not guarantee the execution price.

  • Once triggered, your order is sent to the market and executed at the best available price.
  • Market volatility can cause the executed price to be higher or lower than the trigger price.
  • For Limit GTT orders, the execution will respect your limit price, but if the market moves fast, partial fills at different prices may occur.
