Yes, you can place a market orders and limit orders as an AMO. 

However, as the market prices are volatile, we suggest you not use a market order, to avoid a higher execution price for a buy position and a lower execution price for a sell position. 

Instead, it is advised to place AMOs as limit orders with a limit price.
