No. SEBI-registered intermediaries are permitted to request UPI-based investment payments only through their allotted @valid UPI handles. 

If you receive a payment request from any other UPI ID claiming to represent a broker, mutual fund, or depository participant, you should not approve the request and should report it immediately.
