How to change your name on the PAN card online?
To update your name on your PAN card, follow these steps:
Visit the Online PAN application page on the NSDL portal,
Click on New Application and use the following details:
a. Select PAN Application Type: Changes or Correction in existing PAN data.
b. Select Applicant Category: Individual, Trust, or HUF.
Imp: Share.Market allows only individual PAN holders to open a Demat and Trading account.
c. Fill out the personal details: Title, Full Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile Number, PAN
After filling out the form, check the consent box and click Submit.
Then, select “Name as per Aadhaar (Only for Individual)” to update your name as per your Aadhaar card.
Upload supporting documents required for the name change.
Make the payment online via credit/debit card, net banking, or demand draft.
Authenticate your details using Aadhaar OTP for verification.
After submission, note the 15-digit acknowledgment number to track your application status.
Your updated PAN card will be processed and dispatched within 15 days.
You can also update your PAN card offline by downloading the correction form, filling it out, attaching the required documents, submitting it at a PAN center, paying the fee, and tracking the status using the 15-digit acknowledgment number.
