The rise comes on the back of the company initiating work on a Network Operations Center in Himachal Pradesh as part of the BharatNet project, a government initiative aimed at expanding broadband connectivity in rural areas. The broader project, valued at ₹50.5 billion (approximately $583.5 million), also includes work in two additional regions, highlighting ITI Ltd’s growing role in national digital infrastructure development.
Meanwhile, NHPC Ltd, India’s leading hydroelectric power generator, also saw a 5% jump. The stock is currently trading above key moving averages, and technical analysts are watching the potential formation of a ‘Three White Soldiers’ pattern—a strong bullish signal. With NHPC’s consistent performance and momentum, investors are eyeing a possible breakout if the rally sustains in the coming sessions.
