P/E Ratio
The Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio is a simple way to value a company. It tells you how much investors are willing to pay for every ₹1 of the company’s earnings.
Why it matters:
- A high P/E could mean the stock is expensive or that investors expect high growth.
- A low P/E might signal undervaluation or slower growth prospects.
It’s best used to compare companies in the same industry.
