What is a DRHP?

A DRHP (Draft Red Herring Prospectus) is a document companies file with SEBI before launching an IPO.

This document explains what the company does, how it makes money, the risks involved, and how it plans to use the money raised, but it doesn’t mention the final price or total size of the issue.

It’s a key way for investors to understand the company before investing. SEBI and the public can ask questions about it.

Since it’s still under review, it’s called a draft. Once SEBI approves it, the final Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) is shared with the public.
